Day 1: Capital to Capital
Spend the early part of your day exploring Reykjavík, Iceland’s colourful capital city, and enjoy the variety of captivating museums, landmarks, cafes and shops. In the evening, make your way to the Reykjavik domestic airport for your flight to Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, where you will spend the night of your Arctic getaway.
Day 2: The Majestic Icefjord
From the airstrip at Nuuk, a short flight takes you to the charming Arctic village of Ilulissat (Jakobshavn), beautifully situated at the mouth of the 56 kilometre-long Ilulissat Icefjord. On arrival, you are transferred to your accommodation for the next two nights.
After settling in, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner at Hotel Arctic prepared by Greenland’s top chefs while enjoying the view of the beautiful Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 3: Winter Wonders
Create your own Arctic adventure today! You can choose from a number of fascinating activities, such as a boat ride through a maze of icebergs, a helicopter ride over the ice cap, a dog-sledding safari, a cultural demonstration and village walk or a guided snowmobile tour.* For hiking enthusiasts, the tranquil Sermermiut Valley
just a few kilometres from Ilulissat offers spectacular views from a number of marked trails.

Day 4: Departure
If your flight is in the afternoon, you can squeeze in some last-minute souvenir shopping or a short optional excursion in the morning. For your departure, a short flight takes you back to the Nuuk airstrip, where you will continue onwards to Reykjavik.

Other
• This tour can also originate in Denmark. Due to flight schedules between Denmark and Greenland, passengers may wish to spend a night before departure and/or a night upon return in Copenhagen.
• The winter climate in Greenland is generally cold and dry with a temperature range of -7 to -22° Celsius (not including wind chill).
• Arctic conditions in Greenland can cause sudden weather changes so it is recommended to bring warm, weatherproof outerwear including hats and mittens, thermal layers and insulated walking boots. For many optional activities such as snowmobiling or dog-sledding, additional outerwear and safety gear is provided.
• The itinerary can change without notice due to weather conditions.
• The currency in Greenland is Danish Krona (DKK). Credit cards are not widely accepted, thus we recommend bringing some Danish currency or a debit card (bank card) with a 4-digit PIN number for cash withdrawals at ATM machines.
• Please note that the northern lights (aurora borealis) are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
• Travel insurance is highly recommended.
